Sollasa Basil Gimlet

A short, bright, drink tinged with sweetness, served straight up with an optional dash of Grapefruit bitters.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Sollasa
  • 20ml Lime
  • 15ml Simple syrup
  • 5-6 leaves of basil
  • 1 dash Grapefruit bitter (optional)

METHOD

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice
  • Shake and strain into a martini or coupe glass
  • Garnish with a single basil leaf


Accompaniment: An exceptional aperitif, but also a fantastic accompaniment to those fragrant, spicy, yet deliciously decadent Indian starters.
